In order to protect you from discrimination and abuse, it is important that you understand how your rights are being exercised.
The Delaware Guardianships Handbook provides you with a summary of your rights, how to get legal advice if you have questions, and how to contact your local Guardianship office.
The Handbook is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese.
The guide also includes a sample of your personal information.
When you visit the Delaware Guardians website, you will be taken to the “contact me” section to send your questions, comments, and concerns.
You can also view your personalized Guardianship letter that was mailed to you.
The letter is available at the Delaware Courts website.
The Guardianship Office is also available for your convenience.
If you do not want to wait for a letter to arrive, you can request an appointment to speak with a Delaware Court Clerk or a licensed attorney.
